Rep. Daphne Campbell RN Files HB 4103
Representative Daphne Campbell filed HB 4103. This bill would remove the restrictions to ARNP practice placed in 2006 when HB 699 passed. HB 699 added language to existing statutes that restricted the number of clinics a physician could supervise where nurse practitioners practice. It also placed severe restrictions on dermatological nurse practitioners. HB 699 forced some clinics to close.
Representative Campbell also asked the Federal Trade Commission to review HB 4103 for an analysis and opinion on how it would impact consumer access to health care.
Representative Campbell is an RN representing house district 108 in Miami. She asked Senator Miguel Diaz De La Portilla to sponsor a senate version of the bill. He was happy to do so.
Thank you Representative Campbell and Senator Diaz de la Portilla for helping to remove health care barriers!
Please feel free to send a thank you note
